The Company plans to establish a fully integrated sustainable mariculture operation, with production planned to build progressively to in excess of 3,000 tonnes of fish per annum at full production.
There is no authoritative data on the size of the global live fish trade, however available information indicates an annual consumption of around 45,000 tonnes, with an industry value of nearly a Billion Dollars. The market is predominantly based around the regions of South East Asia, in particular Hong Kong and China. There are cultural and regional preferences among consumers, for the types of fish that are in high demand.
